In the initial phases of construction project management, manual processes dominated. Project managers relied on Gantt charts, developed by Henry L. Gantt in the early 20th century, to plan and visualize project schedules. Although effective for small-scale projects, these methods were inadequate for handling the complexities of large construction endeavors, leading to the need for more robust solutions.

The Digital Revolution: Primavera, MS Project, and Beyond

The introduction of digital tools like Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project in the 1980s and 1990s marked a pivotal shift in project management. Bluebeam Revu: A digital tool for PDF editing, markup, and collaboration, Bluebeam Revu is essential for managing construction documents and ensuring that all stakeholders are aligned.
